The only thing I don't agree with is the whole 1 hour special thing on ESPN. I have no problem with him leaving Cle for Miami. He went to the team that gives him the best chance to win a title. He's actually taking less money, and years to sign with Miami.

We are all, unfortunately, a "Witness" to this sordid affair. No class, King James . . .

Bandwagoning on DWade is no way to usurp the Jordan legend. Going to Chicago would have been more dignified by far.
Lebron is a baby in a man's body. It is disgusting. I have zero respect for him it is just a childish selfish decision. I hope he regrets it.

Leaving Cleveland... so what? Why so much venom towards a guy who turned a bad team around and carried them to the Finals? Why would he be "obligated" to stay in Cleveland?
Legacy... why would his legacy be tarnished? Why couldn't he still be the G.O.A.T.? Jordan couldn't do it without Pippen. Kobe couldn't do it without Gasol/Shaq. No one speaks of their legacies being tarnished.
Only thing I hate about LeBron is all the drama. Dude shoulda just told Cleveland he was leaving - don't have to say where, but just say your intention is to move on. All this ridiculous speculation and hype was unneeded, and in the end, finished with a duddy fizzle. Only interesting part about it was Dan Gilbert's reaction letter. What a fool! Great way to attract future free agents there buddy!

Ya, not understanding all the hate regarding which team he decided to play for. I mean who in their right mind wouldn't have chosen to play on a team with 2 other all stars? All the drama surrounding the situation was annoying, but aside from that, not sure why all the hate.

I hate him for it. Sorry I just do. Just feel on a few levels he missed a chance to take on a challenge and come out great.
How about if he goes to Chicago, and out-Jordan's Michael Jordan in Jordan's house? Awesome - epic. Lebron takes Bulls to title.
How about if he stays in Cleveland and delivers a ring? Awesome - epic. Lebron takes Cavs to title.
How about if he goes to Wade's team, and helps him and Pat Riley win some more rings? Well that is just so "un-special" it is an overall disappointment given the chance Lebron had to be really something special. Wade wins another title with one of the best supporting casts in history.
So I hate him (I mean in real life these are all just cartoon characters so I don't hate or love any of them... but Lebron is just another spoiled brat to me now)

He can never be G.O.A.T. after he failed to win until he became Wade's sidekick.
Now Lebron will be Wade's "Pippen/Gasol". Not the other way round.

Cleveland didn't clear enough cap space to bring in anyone.

Ya, I think the fact that Delonte West was banging his Mom definitely was part of the reason that he did it the way he did....no joke, LOL...
I knew there was no way he would go to Chicago. He would be expected to do what MJ did, which is virtually impossible. 1 or 2 titles do not compare to 6. New York would be too brutal on him if he wasn't able to deliver a title. The supporting cast there wasn't really much better than his supporting cast in Cleveland. The Nets, well...they are the NETS...there was no way he was going to go there. I believe that it was between Miami and Cleveland the whole time. When Miami cleared enough space for all 3 of them, it was pretty much a no brainer. They just traded Beasley to Minny so that clears up more cap space which will now allow them to sign Mike Miller who will be their deep threat.

Totally agree. I think it Bosh made up LeBron's mind about not returning to Cleveland when he chose Miami. If LeBron stayed in Cleveland, there is a distinct possibility he never gets a title. And it wouldn't be his fault, they have done a terrible job of building a team around him, and there is no reason to think that would have changed. They have had 7 years to clear cap space in order get him a legit sidekick. Piss poor management. F*ck um, they got what they deserved.
F*ck Cleveland, piece of sh*t city. What a terrible expectation to have of somebody, he doesn't owe them anything, making somebody stick around Cleveland is worse than probration or parole. Truly the mistake by the mlake.
I don't really like all the lame ass self promotion, but it's not enough to make hate LeBron though. Nothing that LeBron did even compares that the scumbag Dan Gilbert. What a moron, saying LBJ was tanking games in the playoffs...but yet he wanted him back to pay him max money? That really makes sense...dumb ass.

The Cavs should have found a way to ship Delonte's dumb ass out of there. How could LeBron continue to play with the guy? The coach is fired the GM resigns, what a clusterfuk. Still, the whole thing reeked and think of how we'd feel if we had a home grown phenom jilt us like that? I feel bad for Cleveland . . .

Poor Lebron. So many people want him to be the next coming of Jordan, yet he'll never be better than Pippen.

Cleveland had their chance, 7 years is a long time to stick it out waiting for help. Lebron's best years lie just ahead, thank goodness he started young. I hope he leaves his mom behind too.
It's going to be a treat to see him play with Bosh and Wade, and compete for a championship ala 2008 Celtics.
