Cousins is the real deal...Scoring, rebounding, passing...easily running the floor. I will be surprised if this guy isn't starting from day 1.

How'd you like that first half?
That was about as good as it gets for summer league.

Ya, the Kings definitely have a good crop of young guys. Cousins looks damn good, Whiteside looks good with his blocked shots, but not so good on the offensive end, Sloan looks to be a decent backup PG for us....Greene and Casspi looking good too. It's also good to see Tyreke and Landry sitting on the bench with these guys.

Co-signed on all accounts. Those were the standouts.
Cousins' passing, shooting and running of the floor were his best attributes.
Whiteside was a shot blocking machine.
Casspi was the best player on the court by far, and he knows it.
DG found a rhythm later.
And Sloan was a nice surprise -- strong and quick with handles.

Good to see them play, great to see Reke and Landry on the bench. Donte looked like he made some good choices in the offseason, as does Casspi. Cousins is the real deal. Boarding, passing, backs down from no one. Blocks out his man, is aggressive. Whiteside has the defensive and athletic ability, he needs to work on his offense, shotting, moves, foot work. But you can see the potential. Ryan Thompson looked pretty good, and Sloan looked very capable. Gonna have a decent team next season, much better in a couple years though.

Both of our new big men are a force to be reckoned with. Donald Sloan was pretty amazing too, he was being pressured but he never lost the ball.

I'm just amazed at the width of Cousins. That dude blocks a doorway, no doubt. And athletic. I'm impressed.
Whiteside has a future.
Hey, Real, I didn't go home sick, but I had the game taped. I watched the 1st half when I got home. Another game tonight and tomorrow night, right?

Dude has a real impact on the game. On both ends. He gets his hands on passes and dribble drives, he makes great passes, he is a force on the block with tear drops and hooks and spin moves, his foot work is tremendous, he sees the court well, he has great recognition. there are so many great things you can say after watching him play. The only real thing you want to see is his conditioning get better. He's not out of shape, but you can tell that 10lbs ago he was rocking the whole court. I think that if he can keep his playing weight around 275 his activity level and ability to stay in the game will be huge.
I'm also very impressed with Chism and Donte. Donte is showing great confidence and control, and Chism is one helluva Paul Millsapp clone.
