So my father, who is a long-time Kings fan, from CA now living in PA, left me a voicemail this afternoon asking me to find out where he can place a bet on the Kings season. He thinks we could win 40 games this year. Now, I'm not posting to debate my father's optimism, but rather to ask you fine folks where in hell is he supposed to place a bet like that? I know there are a ton of sports book websites, but I know nothing about them or about the process in general. Apparently, my dad thinks I have a bunch of underworld contacts and can just make a call to my bookie and get it done.

Have any of you used an online sports book? Any advice for my dad?

seriously I'd try bodog. I'm pretty sure online sports books are illegal in USA but nobody really enforces it - but your dads bank might not transfer funds... depends. worst case scenario you fund the bet with one of those preloaded visa cards.
