There was a lot of talk about the Kings already deciding to move their 2022 pick for someone who could help the team right away, but with them moving up to #4, it might be worth waiting to see how this draft plays out first. Power forwards Paolo Banchero or Jabari Smith Jr might fit quite nicely next to Domantas Sabonis, and there is no guarantee that the first three picks will all be big men. A lot can change over the next five weeks.

I say we should all wait and see. If the guy Monte McNair is gone by #4, I am sure there will be plenty of teams blowing up his phone to buy the spot and get the Kings the player they need to start winning next season. You really don’t need a squad full of 19-year-olds to be successful.
